For more than fifteen years, I’ve worked at the intersection of community engagement, storytelling, and design. My background spans journalism, copywriting, and graphic design, with experience writing, editing, researching, and creating content for newspapers, agencies, and brands.

I’ve served as an editorial assistant and contributing writer for publications in North Carolina, Louisiana, and beyond—interviewing local voices, crafting feature stories, and developing visual content that connects people to their communities. My agency work includes senior copywriting and art direction roles, where I collaborated closely with clients to shape clear, creative multi-media campaigns.

I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Louisiana and a teaching certificate from Southeastern Louisiana University.
